What You’ll Do:

As a Cashier at Zaxby’s, your main responsibility is to create an unforgettable experience for every guest by providing friendly, efficient service. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Provide Exceptional Service: Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and provide prompt, enthusiastic service.
• Handle Transactions: Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments (cash, credit, etc.).
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining room, counters, and bathrooms clean and organized at all times.
• Promote Our Menu: Share current promotions and recommend menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Teamwork: Work with fellow team members to ensure a smooth, efficient operation.
• Follow Procedures: Maintain Zaxby’s standards for food safety, cleanliness, and guest service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Age Requirement: Must be 16 years or older.
• Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per week. Availability for both opening and closing shifts is a plus!
• Positive Attitude: A friendly, guest-focused approach is key. You’ll be the first face our guests see, so we want you to make a great impression!
• Team Player: You’ll be working with others, so we’re looking for someone who works well in a team and is always ready to help out.
• Physical Requirements: You should be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to use hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to temperature variations and food allergens.
• Safely operate restaurant equipment.
