The Role: Your Path to CEO


The Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) is a high-stakes, transitional leadership role. You aren't just looking for a deal; you are looking for the company you will lead for the next 10+ years.

  • Phase 1 (The Hunt): You will spend 6–12 months embedded in our M&A engine, sourcing and diligencing companies with $5M–$100M in ARR .

  • Phase 2 (The Operation): Upon closing, you will transition into the role of General Manager or CEO of the acquired company, executing the Solen Playbook.


Core Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing & Founder Discovery: Partner with the Corporate Development team to build a pipeline. Lead high-candor discovery calls with founders to understand their legacy and transition needs.
  • Diligence & Underwriting: Own the 'Operational Diligence.' You aren't just looking at the P&L; you are looking for technical debt, churn triggers, and 'low-hanging fruit' in sales and marketing.
  • The Solen Playbook: Master our internal operating rhythms (EOS, L10s, Rocks, and Scorecards). You will learn how we run 'Sales Masterminds' and digital transformations.
  • Post-Acquisition Leadership: Take over the 'Captain's Seat.' You will lead the team through the transition, preserve the culture, and implement Solen's growth frameworks to achieve operational excellence.
