Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven In-Market Door-to-Door (D2D) Sales Representative to manage the full sales cycle for residential home security solutions. This role is responsible for prospecting neighborhoods, generating leads, conducting in-person consultations, closing sales, and maintaining customer relationships from initial contact through installation coordination.

The ideal candidate is confident in face-to-face sales, thrives in a performance-based environment, and has strong communication and closing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door prospecting in assigned territories to generate new business
• Identify homeowner security needs and recommend customized home security and smart home solutions
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to signed agreement
• Present product demonstrations, pricing options, and service packages
• Negotiate and close sales while meeting or exceeding performance goals
• Coordinate installation scheduling and ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience
• Maintain accurate records of leads, appointments, pipeline activity, and completed sales
• Follow up with customers before and after installation to ensure satisfaction
• Stay informed on product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings
• Represent the company professionally within local communities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous door-to-door, direct sales, or commission-based sales experience preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working outdoors and traveling within sales territories
• Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
• Reliable transportation required

• Experience in home security, alarms, or smart home technology sales
• Full-cycle sales experience

• Strong objection-handling and closing techniques
• CRM or sales tracking software experience
