Job Description

An established law firm in Chesapeake is looking to add a Litigation Paralegal to their Personal Injury Team! Candidates who have two years of expeience in personal injury litigation are encouraged to apply! salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Draft various pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests
• Request, follow up, and obtain medical records/bills related to client treatment
• Verify and document account balances with medical providers
• Review and summarize medical records
• Assist with trial preparation, including jury instructions, trial exhibits, subpoenas, etc.
• Manage court dockets and deadlines
• Draft settlement calculations and agreements
• Other administrative duties such as organizing case files, calendaring hearings, filing, etc.
