In the role of Mechanical EIT, we'll count on you to:
  • Coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects
  • Perform routine mechanical engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
  • Write and edit mechanical specifications, and select mechanical systems and devices
  • Utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads, energy analysis and mechanical equipment selections
  • Prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design of buildings, including drawings, specifications and reports
  • Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
  • Supervise work of Mechanical CAD Technicians, and coordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines
  • Take responsibility for construction contract administration requiring field inspections and conflict resolution
  • Perform other duties as needed


Preferred Qualifications

  • Commercial/Institutional experience in healthcare a plus
  • Master's degree in in Mechanical Engineering
  • Healthcare and Hospital design experience
  • Comprehension of OSHPD/ HCAI requirements
  • Sciences, Laboratory and Cleanroom experience
  • Proficiency in Trace 3D and IESVE
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $71,000 - $101,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
