Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mobile App Developer (iOS/Android) to join our onsite team and help build innovative mobile applications that power assistive technology solutions. You will work on cutting-edge products that combine AI, computer vision, and accessibility-focused design to improve independence and quality of life for visually impaired users.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance mobile experiences.

? Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Integrate AI/ML models, camera functionality, and real-time data processing into mobile apps
  • Ensure applications meet accessibility standards (WCAG, screen readers, voice interaction)
  • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and battery usage
  • Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability
  • Work with hardware teams to support integration with wearable or assistive devices
  • Participate in user testing sessions with real users (critical for assistive tech)
  • Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience in mobile app development
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin/Java (Android)
  • Experience with mobile SDKs, APIs, and third-party integrations
  • Understanding of full mobile development lifecycle (design → deployment → maintenance)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration
  • Familiarity with Git and version control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
