Job Description

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a large group who are seeking an individual to build and manage their ever growing waste equipment division. The role is initially a national sales opportunity but with prospects to build, develop and manage a sales team of 3-4 on a national basis. With the company providing strong support to provide a solid platform this is a great opportunity for an individual with waste equipment sales experience looking to step into a long term role with excellent career and financial prospects.

The Role

  • Be the experience and go to person in relation to waste & recycling equipment
  • Work with the companies range of existing customer’s in relation to providing quotes, hiring out and selling wheel loaders, telehandler’s and material handler’s
  • Work with a variety of customer’s to include local authorities and council’s
  • Oversee the business’ marketing and overall sales strategy within the division
  • Represent the business at trade fairs & exhibitions
  • Over time, build, manage and develop a national sales team within waste equipment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in both managing a sales team and selling within the waste equipment/heavy plant space having had experience of selling and hire of wheel loader’s, telehandler’s & material handler’s. However, management experience is by no means essential and our client is very much open individuals with strong experience who are ambitious and keen to manage in the long term. Ultimately, you will be the type of individual who wants to build something over the long term and reap the regards of doing so. Experience with local authorities and council’s is also preferred though not essential. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in the Midlands though this is not essential.
