Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Rover in Seattle WA this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.05 / Hour

02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents maintenance concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas entrances parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points observe site activity and document security-related events policy violations and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support day-to-day property operations by providing directions assisting with visitor inquiries and reporting hazards unsecured areas and/or other concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
