Overview Job Description Academic Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon need at #1 Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health , is seeking faculty with outstanding clinical abilities who share a commitment to high-quality medical care, education, and professional development for an academic rank commensurate with experience in the department of Orthopaedic Surgery. As a faculty member of the department opportunities exist for clinical service and teaching, with administrative and research opportunities based on interest. Ideal candidates will specialize in pediatric Orthopaedic services providing care for the full spectrum of pediatric Orthopaedic injuries and pathology. This surgeon's practice will be primarily based at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, where they would see patients on an inpatient, outpatient, and clinic setting. This position will supervise Faculty, residents and medical school student education. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible and qualify for medical licensure in the State of Missouri. Responsibilities Provide clinical care for the full spectrum of pediatric orthopaedic injuries and pathology. See patients in inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings. Supervise faculty, residents, and medical students in education and training. Engage in teaching and participate in opportunities for administrative and research activities based on interest. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in pediatric orthopaedics. Qualify for medical licensure in the State of Missouri. Faculty rank commensurate with experience.
