Heritage Grand Bakery, located at 8 West 40th st (Bryant Park) is seeking passionate, hardworking Pizza Cook to join our team. With 2 Pizza Ovens located in front of restaurnat we need you to be professional on all levels. Customer interaction is a must. Heritage is a New York Pizza Bar who's dedicated team excels at producing handmade Pizza using traditional baking techniques within a great wrok environment while at the same time providing our guests with an exceptional experience. Responsibilities & Expectations: 

• Recognize the importance of professionalism and respect and exemplify this in interactions with vendors and coworkers alike.
• Assist our team in all aspects of production including but not limited to scaling, mixing, sheeting, proofing, baking and so on. 
• Ensure proper inventory and quality are maintained- recognizing that every day presents varying needs and adjusting work flow to meet these needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasing space in accordance with operations and sanitation guidelines.
• Follow tasks as instructed by managers and supervisors, ensuring responsibilities are met and, when possible, exceeded.
• Commit to creating consistent, high quality products- communicating to your superiors when there are concerns that these expectations are not met. 
• Foster a positive work environment and commitment to Breads Bakery’s values.

 

Skills & Requirements:

• Professional experience in Pizza making.
• Capacity to excel on a team or work independently. 
• Ability to work early mornings, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work on your feet for a full shift and lift 50+ lbs during the shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Shifts Needed:

• all shifts 

*All positions are Full or Part time (4-5 shifts/week)
