Construction Safety Manager
Location: Reno, NV
Duration: 3+ Months (Start Immediate Need)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Position Details

• Hourly Rate: $65/HR

• Per Diem: $140/Day on seven days

• Completion Bonus: $150/month

• Pay Frequency: Weekly

• Schedule: 40-50 hours, M-F, 8-hour shifts,

Project Scope

Safety Manager for a drywall/framing contractor on a data center build.

Qualifications

• BCSP: CHST or higher

• Must have drywall/framing experience

• Data center experience is a huge plus

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

• Safety Documentation (digital) is the most important

• Support incident investigations, report findings, and implement corrective actions

• Be eyes and ears for this project. Be extremely present in the field and involved.

• Deliver safety training and orientation for employees, subcontractors, and new hires

• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify safety risks and mitigate hazards

• Maintain safety performance, incident, and compliance documentation and reports

• Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization

Skills & Knowledge

Skills:

• Excellent public speaking and communication abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction

• Ability to effectively communicate safety principles and regulations
