The Role

As a Social Services Assistant , you are the heartbeat of our resident advocacy. You will act as a primary liaison, ensuring that every resident’s social and emotional needs are met with dignity and personal care. You’ll work closely with the Social Services Director and Administrator to organize programs that help our residents maintain their independence and stay connected to their families and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advocacy & Support: Assist in developing and implementing social care plans and resident assessments.
2. Family Liaison: Help residents and families navigate support agencies and financial assistance programs.
3. Admissions Guide: Support the admission process by conducting tours, managing inquiries, and welcoming new residents.
4. Quality Care: Maintain up-to-date resident records and progress notes in compliance with federal and state standards.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

4. Patience and empathy when working with residents and their families.
5. Ability to perform essential job functions with minimal supervision.
