SOUTHEAST Regional Sales Manager Position. GA, NC, SC, TN,AL.

Origins Organic is the US importer of Domaine Bousquet Winery, with over 10 years US presence, specializes in Organic quality wines from around the world and distribution in 50 states.

Domaine Bousquet is the #1 Organic winery in Argentina and 4th generation family owned and situated in Gualtallary, Tupungato, Mendoza, one of Argentine’s premier location. Distributed nationwide and over 60 countries worldwide.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Manage existing wholesaler network in assigned territory responsible for growing case sales and account distribution.
•  Plan every month, in advance, several trips, in order to support Distributors (“Work Withs”) and help achieve the annual Goals. Plan to Work the market 4 days a week.

•  Increase sales in the territory by introducing new brands to existing wholesalers.
•  Establish goals and incentives programs with distributors.
•  Conduct market work withs to establish a strong and enduring presence with both the distributor, distributor’s reps and with the accounts.
•  Manage all aspects of pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
•  Analyze results and make recommendations and ideas to continue driving growth and profitability.
•  Perform regular markets visits to support distributor meetings, trade & consumer shows, direct account calls/presentations, prospect new accounts, and pricing & display surveys.
•  Keep and maintain direct relationships with at least the top 100 accounts in the territory through direct sales calls, account support initiatives, education, and regular communication.
•  Conduct monthly calls/meetings with our wholesalers to evaluate results and make recommendations to increase sales.
•  Work closely with our marketing team to implement geotargeted social medial campaigns that generate results for both our retail-restaurant clients and our wholesale partners in the region.
•  Provide regular monthly reporting- performance analysis, marketing & sales plans, pricing and inventory to management.
•  Accurate and timely analysis and processing of distributor chargebacks and other invoices.
•  Support the National Account Manager in the development of Key Accounts, in the above mentioned Region where applicable.
•  Coach, train and motivate distributor personnel and market accounts to achieve company goals; building partnerships and works efficiently

Job Requirements
Education/Experience:

•  7+ years of wine industry sales and marketing experience in the region.
•  B.S. or B.A. degree.
•  Proven record of successful wine sales and brand development.
•  Ability to work effectively with all levels of distributor management and sales teams.
•  Solid understanding of how business is conducted in the assigned territory/states.
•  Must have a high level of wine knowledge.
•  Experience calling on all channels and strong retail/on-premise account relationships in the Southeast Region.
•  Travel / market activity is 3 days a week - includes local and out of state responsibilities.

•  Entrepreneurial spirit and field sales experience with an emphasis on new business development.
•  Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
•  Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and deadlines
•  Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects
•  Good understanding of distributor workings, experience working in a distributor is beneficial
•  Good math skills: ability to perform calculations and discounts; verify depletions
•  College degree desired. Proficient use with personal computer and applicable software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet Research, Microsoft Outlook.)
•  Demonstrated integrity and good business judgment.
•  Ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, passionate, self-motivated and be a strong team player.

•  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
•  Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
•  Extraordinary organizational and time management skills.
•  Must be self-driven, highly motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial.
•  Capable of working independently while also maintaining constant communication with team members.
•  Ability to deal tactfully with colleagues, vendors, and customers.

Job Type:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, generally 8:30am-5pm. Ability to attend dinners after hours when appropriate as well as some planned weekend travel for trade events.

Compensation: Base salary and quarterly structured bonus based on Experience and specific goals.
Location: This is a remote position that must reside in Atlanta, GA.
