This job is responsible for developing internal procedures for systems use/operation in accordance with business process requirements. This position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during system urgent issues/upgrades.

Primary Duties:

 

  • Meets with customers to understand future business requirements. Coordinates the development of business cases to gain client approval. Communicates with stakeholders to effectively prioritize deliverables.
  • Proactively maintains thorough working knowledge of industry trends and the technology and applications that are applicable to Division and Corporate business processes.
  • Coordinates and provides training to end users as necessary. Makes presentations to large and small groups as needed.
  • Understands business processes and provides guidance for end users. Provides day-to-day client support and conducts diagnostics as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provides information management services to insure data integrity.
  • Works with end users to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and to optimize the system's value to the business.
  • Ensures end user reporting needs are met and provides ad hoc reporting services as necessary.

Works under minimal supervision, relying on knowledge, skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goal

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of job-related work experience in functional area or in lieu of degree, 6-9 years combination of formal education/training and experience.
  • Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and their underlying causes and resolve them quickly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated expertise in use of applications required for the specific role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks through effective planning, scheduling and coordination.
  • Availability to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience within customer operations or related functional areas, including Billing, Front Office, Credit & Collections, and/or Field & Meter Services
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer operations processes and systems, with strong working knowledge of CC&B (Customer Care & Billing) across Billing, Front Office, Credit & Collections, and Field & Meter Services
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues, exercise sound judgment, and develop effective solutions
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders

  • Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $84,000.00/Yr. – $115,500.00/Yr.
