Now Hiring: Taproom Manager

Join the team at one of Southern Vermont’s newest craft brewery destinations! We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Taproom Manager . This role is ideal for a dynamic, experienced leader with a passion for craft beer and exceptional customer service. The Taproom Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of the brewery, ensuring an unforgettable experience for guests while managing all operational aspects of the business.

Lost Marble Brewing Company is a newly built brewery and taproom destination located in the heart of downtown Manchester, Vermont. Our facility houses a state-of-the-art 10-barrel brewing system, commercial kitchen and pizza oven. Guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer in our welcoming tap room, south patio and outdoor bar, or north terrace and lawn. A mezzanine space overlooking the brewing operation is also available for private functions.

Manchester is a scenic vacation/leisure destination in southern Vermont. Manchester is surrounded by beautiful mountains, close to Stratton, Bromley and Magic Mountains, and known for outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, fly fishing, and leaf-peeping. Our name is inspired by the history of the marble industry and the hard-working men and women that dominated Manchester and the surrounding areas in the 1800’s. We seek to honor our past, celebrating the now, and crafting for the community.

The Taproom Manager role will be a key part of our leadership team and culture.

Location: 4529 Main St., Manchester, Vermont
Pay Range: $55,000-$65,000, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do:

· Oversee all day-to-day, front of the house operations of Lost Marble, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and a warm, welcoming environment for every guest

· Coordinate with the kitchen and brewing teams to deliver an exceptional brewery experience

· Collaborate with the brewing team to promote beer offerings and new beer releases

· Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled team of servers and beer tenders.

· Drive FOH training aligned with craft beer standards to elevate the taproom to the next level and bring more craft beer drinkers to our taproom.

· Maintain and troubleshoot a multi-tower draft line system

· Develop and implement training programs for customer service, beer knowledge, and food safety practices.

· Manage scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels and smooth operations during peak and off-peak hours.

· Foster a positive, team-oriented culture and encourage staff to consistently deliver excellent service.

What We’re Looking For:

· A strong leader with experience as a Tap Room Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role in a brewery, restaurant, or hospitality industry.

· Ideal candidate will have craft beer industry experience, including beer styles, brewing processes, and food pairings

· Level 1 Cicerone certification preferred, or ability to obtain within first 90 days.

· Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on efficiency and detail.

· Knowledge of food safety standards and health and safety regulations.

· Proficiency in Toast or similar POS systems
