Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: RN ADN Certifications: ACLS PALS BLS TNCC (must be from AHA) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred Description: The role involves providing care within a level III trauma setting. The healthcare facility offers medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services. Candidates should be prepared to manage various trauma cases. It features a diverse patient population including adult and pediatric patients. Essential duties include assessing and treating critical and non-critical patients. The unit follows a team nursing and pod system approach. Social workers and nurse educators are assigned to enhance patient care. The department is equipped with advanced medical technology for patient management. Expect to work with critical care equipment such as defibrillators and blood warmers. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality emergency care. Candidates should be comfortable with common diagnoses such as respiratory issues and substance abuse disorders.
