Objective: Develop layered Zero Trust Tagging rules for application & services. Review connectivity requirements to the DSS remote sites, Cloud Hosted Applications and Cloud Hosted services. Protect infrastructure by reducing lateral movement among threat actors.
Scope / Tasks Breakdown: Identify All Applications, Services and Resources with data communication needs. Develop Applications / Dependency Data and Workflow Tagging. Develop Visualization of workflows in Splunk or other tooling. Review and Classify Services and Resources used across the agency to support applications and other enterprise services. Determine / Develop Least Privileged rules for each set of communication needs.
